This new suspension bridge opened in March 2018 and is presently the longest suspension bridge (150 meters long and 1.5 meters wide) in South Korea. The 2.8-billion-won ($2.5 million) bridge was built near the mountain’s Wungye Falls and hangs some 170 meters in midair, connecting the far sides of a deep valley. The bridge can welcome up to 900 adults (70kg per person) at a time with the capacity to withstand 30m/s winds thanks to the support of its four 40mm cables.
The bridge has also another name, the “Gloucester Heroes Bridge”, as it is dedicated to the battles fought by allied troops from Gloucester, U.K., during the Korean War.
Refresh your mind and body at the mystical Beomryunsa Temple & Ungye Water Fall.
Have fun at this hands on wine tour and learn about Korean
Korean alcohol is traditionally made of rice. The two most well-known rice-based Korean alcohols are soju and makgeolli, but nowadays wine is slowly, but surely becoming popular among Koreans.
Sanmeoru Farm is growing its own grapes and the wine produced there is 100% “Made In Korea” wine. The farms own a 75 meters long basement tunnel full of barrels of ripening wine.
