The observatory is located only 2.3 kilometers away from North Korea and 17 kilometers from Gaeseong Industrial complex.
Before 2008, the entrance to this zone was restricted for the general public.
The museum was established in 2010 and is located inside Ganghwa Dolmen Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Historic Site.
The museum informs about the history and culture of Ganghwa from prehistoric ages to modern times based on artifacts from the area.
You will see relics excavated from historic sites from the prehistoric age of Ganghwa and the royal tombs of Goryeo Kingdom (918-1392), as well as collections from traditional Buddhist temples and from the Joseon era.
Located in Ganghwa area, this village offers different rural experiences during the different seasons.

The Hot Springs is located on the western side on Seokmo Island in Incheon. This outdoor spa has about 15 different baths, and all of them are kept at high temperatures during the cold winter months. The water is warmed by granite magma. The water contains potassium, magnesium and calcium which relieves muscle pain and improves skin condition.
